The Las Piñas City government procured new dental equipment to upgrade its accessible dental services and cater to more city residents.

According to Mayor Imelda Aguilar, the city government procured an additional 16 dental chairs. The city now has a total of 30 functional dental chairs distributed across the city’s health centers.

Aguilar said aside from the procurement of 16 dental chairs, two more were installed at the Dental Service Health van.

She said the City Health Office (CHO) acquired new and up-to-date dental chairs to add the equipment used by mobile dental services to inaccessible areas.

Initiated by Mayor Aguilar and Vice Mayor April Aguilar, the services provided by the health center dentists include oral consultation, cleaning, fluoride treatment, sealant application, dental filling procedures, tooth extraction.

The mayor added that the city government is also implementing the “Libreng Pustiso” program which provides free dentures to qualified beneficiaries.
