The Tanay Municipal Government is expecting local and foreign tourists to troop to the town and explore what nature has to offer in various spots in the municipality this summer season.

The Tanay Municipal Tourism Office has identified at least 20 local waterfalls that can be reached by visitors.

Among these waterfalls are Daranak Falls in Barangay Tandang Kutyo; Kinabuan Falls in Barangay Sta. Ines; Tungtong Falls in Barangay Cuyambay; Laiban Falls in Barangay Laiban; Maynoba Falls in Barangay Cayabu; and Mararaot Falls in Barangay Mamuyao.

Other falls include Mahangin Falls, Tagpuan Falls, Kapalaran Falls, Panat-In Falls, Lantay Falls, Manganso Falls, Pantay Falls, Guintoan Falls, Gugulong Na Bato Falls, Katmon Falls, Natagong Paraiso Falls, Manpo Falls, Sindihan Falls, Makiwit Falls and Katigbak Falls.

The office of Mayor Rafael Tanjuatco is encouraging tourists who would like to visit any of the tourist destinations, especially the waterfalls, rivers and mountains, to coordinate first with the Municipal Tourism office for instructions or guidelines and regulations that every tourist must follow, for safety reasons.
