Both national and local government hospitals in Nueva Vizcaya are offering free laboratory services, feeding, circumcision, and other health services to residents from August 6 to 11 to celebrate National Hospital Week.

The event aims to strengthen the unity and advancement of health and welfare for all Vizcayanos.

The theme for this year’s celebration is “Sulong Kalusugan: Hospital Maaasahan” (Moving Forward for Health: Reliable Hospitals).

The celebration includes national and local government hospitals’ participation, promoting a more unified and sufficient healthcare system, and fostering camaraderie, friendship, and referral networks among different hospitals.

Region 2 Trauma and Medical Center also highlights its new medical technology, which includes Magnetic Resonance Imaging, COVID-19 testing, CT scans, and X-RAY services, among others.

In addition, the National Hospital Week celebration showcases a motorcade parade and booths with agricultural and handcrafted products, promoting the local products of Vizcayanos.

The event is a great way to strengthen the spirit of unity among hospitals and to improve the health and welfare of all Novo Vizcayanos.
This is also a way to showcase the progress that has been made in medical technology in the province.
