The Quezon City government under the leadership of QC Mayor Joy Belmonte once again won various awards when the DILG honored the city with one of the Highest Functionality Ratings in the entire NCR from the 2022 DILG Order Council Performance Audit.

The city was recognized in the 2019 and 2021 Functional Local Peace and Order Councils Functionality Audit when it achieved a 99% rating (2019) and 102% rating (2021). The city was also recognized as one of the 2021 High Functional Anti-Drug Abuse Councils.

The initiatives and policies of the QC LGU for the order and security of the city have been continually strengthened as a result of these accolades.

Additionally, on September 1, 2022, the QC LGU cordially welcomed the National Validators for the 2022 Seal of Good Local Governance from the Department of the Interior and Local Government Region 9. In line with this, the QC LGU shared some of its top management techniques for the following areas: financial administration, disaster preparedness, social protection, and law and order.

The Seal of Good Local Governance honors local governments for putting forth distinctive initiatives that will significantly advance citizen development and good governance.
